Many things have changed since real estate contracts were no more than an agreed upon price signed with a handshake. With over 15 years of real estate experience, Sheila has the ability to provide exceptional service and up-to-date real estate information in the buying and selling process. Having most of her business come from referrals, her clients become part of her extended family and the relationships do not end at the closing table.

Sheila was born and raised on a farm in Choctaw, Oklahoma. Her husband, Steven, spent most of his youth in Choctaw then graduated from Midwest City. Steven and Sheila moved to Edmond in 1978, where they raised three daughters. In October 2001, they realized their dream of finding an acreage located close to their roots in Choctaw as well as their friends in Edmond.

Amy, their oldest, married Chris Petermann in 2007 after being introduced by a good friend, who is also a Keller Williams Associate. They have made their home in Perkins on the acreage where Chris grew up and are active members in their small community. Amy is now teaching classes at the University of Central Oklahoma and is the Director of the Children's Ministry at Eden Chapel Methodist Church.

Jennifer married Derek Herrs, whom she met while attending Kansas Wesleyan University. They were living in Kansas when one evening Sheila was browsing through MLS and found an acreage that seemed interesting and forwarded it to them. On Easter weekend, they went to see the property that had stayed on their minds for the past few weeks. They stood in the pasture and decided this was where they would build their dream home. In a leap of faith, they sold their home in Kansas and moved to Oklahoma where they recently completed their new home that they designed and built themselves.

The youngest, Beth, is a licensed Life, Health, Property and Casualty Assistant at a Shelter Insurance Company in Edmond. She and Jack Turpin were married in a beautiful tree-lit ceremony on her parents' acreage. They lived in Edmond, but knew one day they would want to move to some land of their own. They did not know where they wanted to plant their roots, so they casually looked in surrounding areas, until Sheila found their perfect home just down the road from her and Steven.

Call Sheila today, she would love to help you realize your dream, too.
